Army officer’s wife crowned Mrs India 2nd runner up

A courageous and proud Army officer’s wife,  Timsi Bector was adjudged as ‘Mrs India- 2021-2nd runners up (VPR)’ and crowned as ‘Mrs Perfectionist’ at a four-day Mrs India Event organized at Ahemadabad from February 17 to 20.

Her birth moment was indicative that she will emerge as a fighter and has a mission to accomplish in life. Declared dead, before she was born and miraculously survived after entering this world, she was born and brought up in a middle class family. Father, now a retired PCS officer, mother a social activist and cancer survivor, a younger brother who survived a massive accident after 3 major brain surgeries, she has witnessed rains and droughts.

She completed her studies through all odds as a scholarship holder, topper throughout her life. She has done M.Sc in Human Genetics, M.Phil Zoology, M.ed. She served as a Lecturer and a Principal. Being from an entirely different professional stream, she always dreamt of becoming a model.Belonging to a small town Bassi Pathana, a normal stereotype family in Punjab, she could never dare to pursue her dreams. Her destiny changed when she got married to an Army Officer, then Major and now Lt Col Amit Bector.

Class apart, Army officers are meant to be the most disciplined and cultured clan. So immediately after marriage, her husband saw dreams in her eyes and talents in her personality. That was the first time she walked on the ramp and got crowned too.

Being an intellectual, God fearing and rooted to the culture lady, she was always more inclined towards her family. Performing the duties of a wife, a daughter- in- law, a mother of 2 daughters- 12 years and 5 years old, she never gave up on her dreams. Her husband supported her.

The pageant took place in Ahemadabad, where 41 contestants participated as finalists out of 250 shortlisted from all over India. Due to her breathtaking beauty, intellect and talent, she was crowned as one of the three winners of Finale.
