Chhattisgarh’s Durg administration on Sunday made it compulsory to obtain permission via e-pass to reach and depart Durg district in emergency during the Covid-induced lockdown from April 6 to 14.
On April 2, Durg Collector Dr Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure imposed a nine-day lockdown in the district due to a sudden spike in Covid-19 cases.
Applicants can apply via e-mail at epasscoviddurgapril@gmail.com by filling the application form in the attached format to get an e-pass, a press release said.
Only an e-mail copy of the application form will be valid, it said.
The e-pass will be issued via e-mail or WhatsApp number given in the application form. The application form is available on government website and social media pages of Durg district administration.
