A team of 16 members of FICCI Ladies’ Organisation (FLO) Bhubaneswar led by chairperson Sunita Mohanty visited INS Chilka on Saturday as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to mark celebration of 75 years of Independence. On its arrival, the FLO team hoisted the National Flag at Watermanship Training Centre in presence of Commanding Officer NP Pradeep and Chilka Navy Wives’ Welfare Association (NWWA) president Bindu Pradeep along with officers, sailors and ladies of station. Later, they were given a presentation on history and role of INS Chilka with special emphasis on community outreach activities undertaken by NWWA.The members of FLO were also taken on a guided windshield tour of Naval Station and facilities.
