Women Football Team to play in Santosh Trophy

The National Football Federation had informed through a letter on November 22 forbidding the Jharkhand’s team from playing in the Santosh Trophy. After receiving the information, the Sports Director, after talking with the officials of the National Federation, was informed that the players should not be denied to play under any circumstances. He also said that the ongoing work between the federation and the State government may get hampered if the Jharkhand team is denied playing the Santosh Trophy. After the initiative of the government, it was assured by the National Football Federation that the National Federation would send its technical team and prepare a list of players. Sports Director, Zeeshan Qamar said that the Chief Minister is doing many things to promote sports. In this direction, after the national team of women’s football, the camp of the women’s team of national under-17 is going to be organised with the help of Jharkhand government. In such a situation, playing with the future of the players of Jharkhand by the Federation will not be acceptable at any cost.

 

Business Quiz ‘Udaan 2021’ set to take off

Steel Authority of India Limited (MTI SAIL) along with National HRD Network Ranchi Chapter is organizing the 11th edition of UDAAN : The Business Quiz for Corporates during November 28  - December 19, 2021. This event started in the year 2011 with an objective to promote quizzing culture in Ranchi and with a larger aim of enhancing the knowledge base of corporates in the area of management and business and helping them keeping up with the recent changes in the business scenario and thereby helping them in responding to these changes proactively. The inaugural edition of UDAAN 2011 had 26 teams. Since then, UDAAN has been going from strength to strength. Last year we had the first online quiz held at the national level with a record 300 participants turning up for the event. UDAAN 2021 will be organized in online mode which will start off with the preliminary round on Nov 28 & 30, followed by four Zonal rounds . The Grand Finale is scheduled on Dec 19, 2021.

 

ATAL FDP Programme at XISS

The second day of the ongoing ATAL FDP on Emerging Trends in Business Analytics for Managers at Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, discussed the role of Artificial Intelligence, Business Reengineering and Business Analytics. Poulastya Mukherjee, Robotics Software Engineer, Duspohi Maschinenbou GmbH, Germany spoke on the role of Artificial Intelligence Enabled Business Analytics for Industry 4.0. Indrajeet Kar primarily spoke on the importance of Business Analytics for Efficient Business Reengineering. The final session had Anindya Chatterjee, Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Siemens, Bengaluru, who deliberated upon approaches for handling and detecting visual graphics for efficient Business Analytics.

 

Vande Bharatam NrityaUtsav at R-Day Parade

Minister of State, Ministry of Culture, Meenakashi Lekhi has launched ‘VandeBharatam-NrityaUtsav’ as part of AzadiKaAmritMahotsav to commemorate 75 years of independence of India. Top selected 480 dancers from the All India Dance Competition will perform during the cultural programme at Republic Day Parade 2022 at Rajpath, New Delhi. The competition will open digital entries from 17th November 2021 for the district level. The competition will be held progressively at District, then State, Zonal, and finally culminating at the National Level.
