Man held for stabbing girl to death

Khajuri Sadak police have arrested 33-year-old man who stabbed a girl to death on July 23 and dumped body near a nullah at Bhori Bangal; police have recovered sharp edged weapon used in the murder.

The accused Akhtar Ali was nabbed from Bhori in the morning hours acting on a tip off. The accused confessed he escaped to Uttar Pradesh and kept scooter and his belongings in Uttar Pradesh and returned Bhopal.

Rajesh Jahnjha uncle of Kashish Parihar lodged a complaint with the police after she went missing and later she was found killed. He informed police that Akhtar has killed his niece.

In the investigation police are yet to find reason behind the murder. Police suspect that the two were in relationship and she was killed over money dispute. The accused informed uncle and aunt of deceased after killing her which revealed the killing.

The statements of uncle and aunt would be recorded said police. Call record details of accused are under investigation while his mobile phone has been kept under surveillance.

Earlier, sensation prevailed in the area after a body of a woman was found in white sack near a nullah at Bhori Bangal on Saturday  morning .

After the body was spotted locals informed the police and on the receipt a police team reached the spot and started investigation. It was found that the woman was killed two days ago and later body was dumped at the spot. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case and started further investigation.
