From conspiracies to lies, television storytellers have exploited the dynamics between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law by stereotyping it extensively. Breaking these walls with a fresh storyline, IN10 Media Networks Hindi General Entertainment Channel Ishara brings a new show titled Humkadam. The show follows the story of two women who build each other in an extraordinary, unprecedented situation.

Well-known actors GurdeepKohli and Bhumika Gurung are seen playing titular characters as they demolish the clichés of the typical saas-bahu relationship. The duo visited Bhopal taking the much-needed conversation about changing the perception about the saas-bahu bond to the public. As they performed an extremely impactful act, they enthralled the audiences and left them speechless.

GurdeepKohli commented on the launch of her new show, Humkadam is a story that we all will relate to in the current changing dynamics of women vs women relationship. The characters of Shanti and Tara don't allow a traumatic experience to destroy them; rather they stand together and face the world as a team. Breaking out of the shackles of societal expression of the saas-bahu relationship, Humkadam will make you reflect on how to nurture it with love.”

BhumikaGurung added, “Ishara has given me the opportunity of a lifetime and also showed that its not always necessary to follow the footsteps of others. Humkadam is fresh, dynamic, emotional, exciting, and heart-warming all at the same time. It is a show which will force you to invest yourself in it as you walk with Tara and Shanti in their journey.
