The Odisha Youth Congress unit ‘celebrated’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday on Friday as “National Unemployment Day” and organised a unique demonstration in front of the Directorate of Employment office here. Under leadership of Youth Congress State president Dr Smruti Ranjan Lenka, hundreds of youths prepared pakoda and polished shoe in front of employment office and tried to enter inside office by confronting with police. Later, police stopped them forcibly. Lenka said PM Modi has completely failed in keeping his promise made before the 2014 general elections for providing two crore jobs per year to youths of country. Rather, he has snatched jobs from millions of youths. In August alone, around 1.5 million people lost jobs.
