Singers Anwar Hussain, Rahimuddin enthral public in Shame-e-Ghazal prog

Internationally renowned Ghazal singer Anwar Hussain and famous Ghazal singer Mohammad Rahimuddin gave cultural presentation of Ghazals in the Sham-e-Ghazal program on Thursday.

It was organized by Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy, which was broadcast on YouTube channel of Madhya Pradesh Urdu Academy and MP Cultural Department.

At the beginning of the programme, Nusrat Mehdi, Director of the Academy gave information about the programme.

The event started with Mumtaz Rashid's Ghazal by Anwar Hussain in Sham-e-Ghazal Koi Hulchul Na Sada Hai Mujhme, Nida Fazli Benaam Sa Dard Theher Kyun Nahi Jata, Momim Khan Woh jo hum mien Tum mien qarar tha and more.

Anwar Hussain is a well known Ghazal singer from Jabalpur. He has been performing regularly in the programmes of Doordarshan and All India Radio. Anwar has performed at many prestigious forums of the country.

Mohammad Rahimuddin performed Ghazal of Sayeed Shaheedi Kaise Sukoon Paun Tujhe Dekhne Ke Baad, Dushyant Kumar's Kaise Mazar Saamne Aane Lage Hain. Qaiser-ul-Jafari's Tumhare Sheher Ka mosam baad suhana lage, and Sheri Bhopali's Ghazal Hume Unse Kuch Kaam nahi Hai.

Mohammad Rahimuddin has done Sangeet Prabhakar Diploma in Singing from Prayag Sangeet Samiti Allahabad. Rahimuddin has given singing performances in many programmes of the Department of Culture.

At the end of the programme Nusrat Mehdi, Director of the Academy expressed gratitude to all the audience. Azam conducted the program.
