Indian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has been at the forefront of leading conversation around health, safety and growth of tourism sector amid the on-going pandemic. ITDC has been instrumental in charting precautionary directives, revival for hospitality sector and generating revenues during these unforeseen circumstances of lockdown and social distancing. Post the ease in travel guidelines and resumption of domestic tourism, ITDC along with other industry leaders participated in a webinar organised by Indo Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ISCCI) to discuss the overview of tourism industry in Sri Lanka. G Kamala Vardhana Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, ITDC, joined the discussion along with other eminent dignitaries including Dr Krishna Kumar, Former Union Minister, Government of India, Lt Gen Rakesh Kumar Loomba, PVSM, AVSM, Engineer Naseer Ahamed, Member, Parliament in Sri Lankan Parliament, Dushan Wickramasuriya, Director Marketing of the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and Aamir Ali, ED, Sri Lanka Airlines.

The Regional Office of Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) celebrated the 65th Foundation Day of the corporation with full enthusiasm. The Regional Manager Rajeev Kumar Bansal and General Manager Rajeev Vinaik congratulated the officials and motivated them to give their best to meet the corporate goals.

Delhi recently witnessed an evening of mystical Sufi music —Shaam-e-Sufiyana — hosted by Vandana and Praveen Gupta. The event was graced by the Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Science and Technology Dr Harsh Vardhan; S N Srivastava, Commissioner Police Delhi; Rajesh Aggarwal, Add. Secretary to GOI; Rajesh Aggarwal; DCP Sanjay Bhatia among many others. Soulful performances by Padma Shri Kailash Kher along with Tanura and Sufi dancers kept the audience glued throughout.

If everything goes well, the colour of Hindon river will be changed soon. Regarding this, the DM of Ghaziabad, Dr Ajay Shankar Pandey, held a review meeting with officials of the Municipal Corporation and other related departments regarding cleanliness and other arrangements of the Hindon River. In this meeting, the District Magistrate gave tips from rejuvenation of Hindon River to permanent beautification. He said that now a long-term action plan is being made for permanent beautification of the Hindon River so that the river can remain clean.
