Reports said that Dr Gorakh Yadav, a resident of Harkhauli village of Lar area in Deoria, does private practice along with running a medical store at the crossroads. Sanskar Yadav, who was just six years old, was his only son amongst his three daughters.

Sanskar had gone to a teacher's house in the village on Wednesday evening to attend tuition class. After some time, when Sanskar did not return home, the family members became upset and started looking for him.

Meanwhile, Sanskar's sister reached the teacher's house to enquire about their brother. However, the teacher informed her that Sanskar had not come for tuition on Wednesday.

The news of Sanskar’s disappearance spread like a wild fire and several local residents launched a search for him. During search, they found a paper in the field on the south side of the village, on which it was written that Gorakh Yadav should arrange Rs 5 lakh otherwise his only son will not be set free. The alleged kidnapper asked the doctor to arrange money and warned that if this was not done they would kill the boy.

After recovery of the letter, the family members informed the local police about the kidnapping. Police registered a case on the complaint of Gorakh Yadav and started investigation.

During the investigation, the needle of suspicion pointed to the grandson of the teacher who gave tuition. When the police took him into custody and questioned him strictly, he spilled the whole truth. On his tips, the body of Sanskar was recovered from a toilet at the door of the teacher’s house.
