AAPs Jansamvaad, Nukkad Sabhas in Delhi’s 148 areas

Wednesday, 30 November 2022 | SR | New Delhi

The AAP on Tuesday held Jansamvaad, Nukkad Sabhas and Buzz Programs in around 148 areas of the national Capital under its election campaign ahead of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls.

Several senior leaders of the AAP including party’s national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, Rajya Sabha MPs Sushil Gupta and Raghav Chadha, Cabinet Ministers Kailash Gahlot and Raaj Kumar Anand hit the roads to seek voters for the municipal elections.

“The way people's support is being received in every Jansamvaad, it has been proved that Kejriwal is the first choice of the people in MCD. He will bring progress in the corporation, cleanliness will be ensured, roads and streets will be repaired, parks will be maintained, stray animal crisis will be resolved,” said a senior AAP official. “On December 4, all the deposits of BJP will be forfeited in MCD and the AAP government will be formed with the support of public.

Kejriwal has promised that if his Government comes to power in civic body, people will get rid of all three mountains of garbage within next five years,” he said. Kejriwal lead door-to-door campaign in Chirag Delhi where he talked to every resident on his way and patiently explained to them party’s pitch for  polls. During the campaign, he also sat down at a local chai-tapri to sip tea with locals and get a sense of political atmosphere at grassroots. However, Sisodia held 10 Nukkad Sabhas at 10 different locations across East Delhi including Pandav Nagar, Shakarpur, Lalita Park, Laxmi Nagar, Anarkali, Jagatpuri, Geeta Colony, Krishna Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, and Shastri Park.
