Ollywood filmmaker Pramod Swain on Tuesday deposed before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the Archana Nag honey-trap and extortion case.
Notably, film producer Akshay Parija had recently appeared before the ED in this case.
Swain, who had been summoned by the ED for questioning, said to the mediapersons that Archana was blackmailing him. He said that he would share more information after appearing the agency.
Earlier, in 2016 Archana used to stay in Swain’s house in the Jagamara area in the capital city. Later, Shradhanjali Behera, was also the tenant of Swain during 2018.
In 2017, Archana had accused the film producer of forcing her to have physical relations with him by blackmailing her with obscene photos, while she was staying at the latter’s house.
She had lodged a complaint with the Mahila police, on the basis of which a case was registered under relevant sections of the IPC.
As per the allegations, Swain had promised Archana of giving her a role in an Ollywood movie and a job. One day, he spiked and offered a cup of tea,
Later, Swain took obscene photos and used those to blackmail and force her to have ‘sexual relation’ with him, she alleged in the complaint.
As she opposed and objected to this, Swain sent some goons to vacate the rented house where she was staying. Later, Swain also filed a counter case at the Khandagiri police station, following which the matter was settled amicably between them.
