Free dialysis is being provided by the Chhattisgarh government in nine districts.
So far, more than 13,000 such dialysis sessions have been conducted, an official communiqué said on Tuesday.
The facility is being provided in Durg, Kanker, Korba, Bilaspur, Jashpur, Sarguja, Mahasamund, Bijapur and Rajnandgaon districts by the National Health Mission, Chhattisgarh.
For this, six dialysis machines have been installed in Korba; five each in Jashpur, Durg and Kanker; four each in Ambikapur, Bilaspur and Mahasamund; and three in Bijapur.
The statement stated that the Chhattisgarh government is running many schemes related to healthcare services.
Through these schemes, common people get medicines at cheaper rates and free healthcare services.
