One Ram Singh co ordinator of Prime One Work Force Pvt Ltd today lodged an FIR with the Chainpur police station in Palamu against the retail wine shop incharge Sarwan Kumar Chourasia said the SDPO Surjit Kumar.
Sources said this Prime One Work Force is a labour agency contracted by the Jharkhand state beverage corporation limited.
SDPO Surjit Kumar said the wine shop incharge Chourasia is alleged to have siphoned off more than 24.74 lakhs of rupees which was the sale proceeds of the wine sold by this man from June to September.
Surjit Kumar said the man was to deposit the sale proceeds with the PNB branch in Daltonganj.
Quoting the FIR the SDPO said the complainant of the FIR Ram Singh has stated in his complaint that Chaurasia used to present fake deposit vouchers of the PNB in respect of the cash of the sale proceeds.
Ram Singh has also clarified that cash of sale proceeds to be deposited with the PNB branch in Daltonganj was the sole task and responsibility of the Security and Intelligence Services Pvt Ltd.
Surjit Kumar said Chainpur police have invoked 406 and 420 sections of the IPC against Chourasia. Aman Kumar, a police official has been made its investigating officer.
