Energy literacy campaign has been started by the state government from today to make the general public literate towards energy in the state. In the campaign, important information is being given to all sections of the society and the general public by making them aware about energy and its consumption.
A special initiative has been taken to connect all sections with the Energy Literacy Campaign in the Seva Pakhwada, which will continue till October 31.
On the first day of Seva Pakhwada, various programs were organized in all the districts, in which energy literacy programs were organized in the presence of students, public representatives, administrative officers. Energy saving pledge was administered to all the people present in the awareness program by the Energy Development Corporation in the auditorium of Subhash Excellence School, Bhopal.
Giving detailed information about the scheme, Managing Director of the corporation, Karmaveer Sharma said that more than 65 lakh people of the state have been associated with the energy literacy campaign. Our aim is to send the message of energy literacy in every household of the state and motivate the citizens towards energy saving and energy literacy. He told that to join the Energy Literacy Campaign, one can login to the website www.usha.mp.gov.in and can also be connected through Mobile App (UShA). For awareness under the campaign, publicity will be done in different areas through mobile van.
