XLRI to host consulting conclave Fulcrum - The Making of a Strategist

XLRI ExPGDM batch of 2021-22 will be hosting "Fulcrum," XLRI's flagship Consulting Conclave, on February 12. The theme for the conclave is The Making of a Strategist organised by Kautilya Consulting Club.

The event brings together Strategists, Consulting Evangelists, Thought Leaders, Entrepreneurs and Professionals who are pioneering change to evaluate real-world business dilemmas, reflect on their social impact and spark intuitive conversations.

The consulting conclave will have an inaugural address by Ranaveer Sinha - president of Alumni Association XLRI and member- XLRI Board of Governors.

After Sinha's welcome address, keynote address by guest of honour Sanjay Dawar, managing director & lead, Capability Network and Strategy, Accenture, will share his insights on Consulting of the Future. As a managing director in India, Sanjay has extensive experience working with clients in India and globally across the entire spectrum of consulting services at the intersection of business and digital / technology for over 30 years. He currently leads a team of 5000+ strategy and consulting professionals across India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Poland, and Latin America.

Next will be Prakhar Tripathi's (Director, Deloitte) session on Decoding Synergy and Unlock Talent Potential in Mergers & Acquisitions. The day will further witness an enticing discussion with Leaders on Strategize Business Turnaround and Transformation: The India Opportunity with a panel comprising of Anurag Johri (managing director, Accenture), Rahul Sanghvi  (partner, BCG), Lokesh Gupta (Partner, EY), and Anant Kasibhatla (Associate Partner, Mckinsey) and moderated by Prof. Indrajit Mukherjee, Professor in Strategic Management, XLRI Jamshedpur.

Post break, we will have an individual speaker session by Vivek Kamra ( MD, Alvarez & Marsal) on Business Strategy and Effective Execution. The session will be followed by a panel discussion on Strategy and Tech: Tracking the Convergence with panelists Mr.Mohinish Sinha (Partner, Deloitte), Mr.Aditya Malik (Director, PWC), Mr.Paul Praveen (MD, Huron Consulting), and Ms.Ipshita Ghosh (MD, Accenture) under the moderation of Prof. Kalyan Bhaskar, Professor in the Strategic Management, Business Sustainability and Public Policy & Business Strategy, XLRI Jamshedpur.

A panel discussion shall be followed by fascinating individual addresses by Abhik Chatterjee (MD, BCG), on Winning in Digital India: The Art & Science of Crafting Success and Jugaad to top it all, Brajesh Singh (President, Arthur D. Little) on Why Consultancy Matters: For Organizations and Individual and Vicky Bahl (Partner Grant Thornton) on What it takes to thrive as a Management Consultant followed by one after another.

The event will be concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Prof. Kanagaraj Ayyalusamy, Professor & Placement Convenor, ExPGDM, XLRI Jamshedpur.
