3-day fest in B'pur to mark Paryatan Divas

: Convenor of National Tourism Fest Committee (Jateeya Paryatan Utschav Committee) Er Umasankar Panigrahi reviewed the preparedness for the upcoming three-day celebration of the Biswa Paryatan Divas  from Wednesday (September 27).  The event will be organised by Paryatan Bharat.

 

Panigrahi said that the mega national level fest will be organised at Biju Pattnaik Sanskruti Bhavan near Hilpatna.

 

On the first day of this national level fest, the “Chha Mana Atha Guntha” written by legendry novelist Fakir Mohan Senapati will be staged, followed by a literary seminar on “Sama Samyeeka Sahityara Swara O’ Sabda”.

 

Besides, there will be a brief meeting and felicitation, followed by Odia play based on Jagannath Culture “Mani Mantey” written by Deepika Das and directed by Satyabrat Das will be staged. Similarly, on the second day of the fest, a national level seminar on ‘Paryatana and Sabuja Beenijoga” will be organised by the Berhampur University in which research scholars pursuing research on ‘tourism” from different parts of the country are likely to join. This will be followed by a brief meeting and felicitation in the evening. Besides, Nataka “Asta Surya’ra Swapna” written and directed by Rabinarayan Behera will be staged in the evening.

 

On the closing day, a brief valedictory function will be held followed by various completions and a photo exhibition. Similarly, on evening of the each day, Loka Nritya will be performed by the artists of Zilla Sanskruti Parishad, followed by the national film festival by Isha Vision in which 35 documentary films will be exhibited/screened.
