48-year-old man dies on way to hospital from police station

A 48-year-old man died while on his way to hospital after having a fight with elder brother in the morning; the deceased had gone to complain with Bajaria police where he reported illness and was taken to hospital.

Police said that a fight broke out between two real brothers over a water dispute in Bajaria police station area.

TI Mehtab Singh told that Gagan Srivastava (48), resident of Chandbad, used to work as a driver with a private firm. There was a dispute with the elder brother over water at 7 am on Tuesday. The matter escalated so much that both of them started bickering and after which Gagan came to the police station with his wife to complain where his health deteriorated.

They wanted to go to LBS hospital and hired an auto rickshaw to LBS hospital. From where he was referred to as Hamidia. Doctors declared him dead on arrival at Hamidia.

The police are investigating by registering a case. After the receipt of the PM report, the exact cause of death will be known. The police have taken the elder brother into custody.

The wife told the police that her husband was going to the bathroom in the morning during which the elder brother's wife splashed water. When the husband protested, the whole family together started hitting and abusing. She along with her husband went to the police station, where husband reported chest pain and when they asked for help, policemen refused to help.
