6th convocation of Medi-Caps University held

The 6th Convocation of Medi-Caps University, Indore was successfully held on Wednesday.

In the ceremony, all the degree holders took a pledge for the progress of the world with the spirit of welfare of society and culture.

Chief guest Prof. (Dr.) T.G. Sitaram, Chairman AICTE, New Delhi and special guest Prof. (Dr.) Bharat Sharan Singh, Chairman, MPPURC Bhopal graced the program with their special presence. Honorable Chancellor of Medi-Caps University, Indore, R.C. Mittal presided over the function, which was attended by Honorable, Pro Chancellor Gopal Agarwal, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Dilip Kumar Patnaik, OSD to Chancellor Palash Garg, Director Branding Mrs. Saloni Garg, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. D.K. Panda, Dy PVC, Dr. Ankur Saxena, Registrar P. Siluvanathan, deans of all the faculties, heads of departments, teachers were present. A total of 2387 graduates, post-graduates and research students were awarded degrees and 24 meritorious students were awarded gold medals. 'Distinguished Alumni Award' 2007-2011 B.E. (Mechanical) alumnus Ankur Lahoti. Ankur Lahoti is an IAS-affiliated officer (Indian Information Service), serving in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

TG Sitaram congratulated the graduates and advised them to work for the betterment of the society. He also urged the faculty members to work hard and become role models for the students. He also discussed about the AICTE policies for betterment of education. Prof. Bharat Sharan Singh stressed the importance of education for a meaningful life. Chancellor RC Mittal emphasized that no matter how much success we achieve in life, our education and values should be replaced in our identity.

He also emphasized on changes in current scenario in all sectors. He urge the importance of adaptiblity.   Also Vice Chancellor Prof. D.K. Patnaik advised the graduates to prioritize ethics and values and carry forward the educational legacy of Medi-Caps University. Pro-Chancellor Gopal Aggarwal thanked all the dignitaries present in the program.

He also thanked the parents, faculty members for making this event a success and wished them a wonderful life. Everyone wished the degree holders all the best for their graduation journey full of success and learning.

The ceremony was attended by officers from different universities and government and semi-government dignitaries and parents.the convocation concluded with the national anthem.
