AAP leaders intensify Mai Bhi Kejriwal drive

Tuesday, 05 December 2023 | Staff Reporter | New Delhi

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders on Monday intensified their campaign ‘Mai Bhi Kejriwal’ in the city. After Delhi Ministers Gopal Rai and Atishi,  AAP leader and minister Saurabh Bharadwaj conducted  door-to-door campaign with the party workers in his Assembly constituency of Greater Kailash’s DDA Flats, Kalkaji area and claimed that the campaign is receiving immense support from the public as people are openly saying that the BJP is trapping AAP leaders in false cases.

During door to door campaign, Bharadwaj said that over the past three days, workers of the AAP have been running the campaign ‘Main Bhi Kejriwal’.

Under this campaign, all AAP workers are distributing a leaflet provided by the party to every household, informing the common people about how the AAP leaders are being trapped in baseless and false cases at the whims of the BJP’s conspiracies. In this context, many prominent leaders of the BJP have also issued threats that now AAP’s chief and Delhi CM will also be falsely implicated and sent to jail in a similar manner.

The AAP claimed that results and feedback obtained during this door-to-door campaign have surpassed their expectations. Nearly 90% or more people believe that CM Kejriwal should lead the Delhi government. People are openly expressing that the BJP is allegedly using false cases and arrests against leaders of the AAP.

“According to public sentiment, this is seen as a retaliation for the BJP’s defeat in Delhi, and there is a belief that the BJP is orchestrating such conspiracies to settle scores. The people of Delhi are extending their full support to Kejriwal, asserting that regardless of whether he governs from outside or from jail, the Delhi government should be led by him,” the AAP said in a statement.
