Ashok Agrawal is new IRCS Chairman

Retired IAS officer Ashok Agrawal on Tuesday took charge as Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society's (IRCS) in Chhattisgarh.

As per the new rules, the Chairman has to be elected and a Management Committee be constituted, an official communication said

The President of the IRCS, Chhattisgarh, has appointed Agrawal as the Chairman of the Management Committee till elections are held.

Agrawal recently retired as the Chief Information Commissioner, Chhattisgarh.
