Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday launched the state's first digital radio station Radio Sangwari.
He congratulated the team of Radio Sangwari, describing it as a commendable effort in the direction of promoting the art and culture of Chhattisgarh.
Baghel said the platform has the potential to become a powerful medium for reviving the cultural genres and traditional art forms of Chhattisgarh. This would also promote the talent of new artists.
“There is no dearth of radio listeners even today. Many radio stations have gained popularity because of their innovations and out of the box vision. I hope Radio Sangwari will also gain recognition and popularity as a powerful medium,” he said.
Radio Sangwari founder Rahul Sharma and co-founder Dr. Hemant Sirmaur said the radio can be heard even on 2G Internet speed.
Its App can be downloaded by typing Radio Sangwari on Google Play Store, they said.ss
