Bhopal Mayor inspects several areas of city

In a bid to achieve no. 1 place in cleanliness  Mayor Malti Rai  inspected various areas of the city and motivated people for active cooperation in cleanliness activities and according to the criteria set under Swachh Survekshan 2023 Mayor conducted inspection.

In order to ensure cleanliness, garbage collection and execution in a better way, citizens and businessmen are also being directed to keep different types of waste separately, not to use banned polythene and single use plastic and thermocol etc.

Appeal is also being made to make city number 1 in cleanliness and a plastic-free city. In this context, Mayor Rai inspected drains in various areas of Zone No. 21 in the morning and Zone No. 10 in the evening on Monday to ensure better cleaning of drains and to ensure continuous uninterrupted flow of water.

Gave instructions as well as to ensure a better cleaning system in both daily shifts and nightly in other areas including New Market, 06 number stop, Arera Colony area etc.

In the morning areas of New Market, Kwality Restaurant, 228 Quarter, Gitanjali Complex, Neelbad Road Sakshi Dhaba, Bhadbhada Road, Smart Park, Gandhi Bhawan, Kilol Park, Ravindra Bhawan, Banganga and GTV Complex etc. and in the evening areas of 06 number stop hawkers  Corner, Parul Hospital, Shivaji Nagar, Number 10 Stop, Saibaba Board, Arera Colony, Banskhedi were inspected.

She gave instructions to ensure better cleanliness, door-to-door garbage collection system in residential and market areas. Mayor Rai instructed to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the park located at GTB Complex in a more systematic manner.
