Bokaro MLA cum Chief Whip opposition party Biranchi Narayan met DG Fire Services Anil Palta regarding starting of air service from Bokaro Airport. It is noteworthy that from the security point of view, 16 fire personnel are required in Bokaro Airport but only 10 personnel are posted here till date. Thus the Legislator drew the attention of Fire DG Anil Palta to this concern and requested to nullify the gaps soon so that 6 additional fire personnel are posted pertaining to the required compliances. In view of the seriousness of the matter, DG Fire, Anil Palta has assured that 6 fire personnel will be posted on immediate basis. Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan expressed his gratitude to the DG Palta and said that one of the obstacles in fulfilling the dream of Bokaro residents of starting air service from Bokaro pertaining to fire safety has been removed.
It is noteworthy that the Bokaro airport is spread over 200 acre and with the commissioning of Bokaro airport there will be a significant boost in the industrial development of the district and state .Also Bokaro is already having an identity of commercial, industrial, healthcare, sports, educational and startup hub. Thus the airport in Bokaro today is not optional but a mandate for the overall development of this industrial city Bokaro.
