Troupes from Cambodia, Indonesia and 12 Indian states will take part in the National Ramayan Festival to be organized at the Ram Leela Ground of Raigarh in Chhattisgarh from June 1 to 3.
An official communiqué on Sunday said these teams would be the centre of attraction in this competition-based programme. The theme of the dance-drama will be based on the Aranya Kand of the Ramayan.
Chhattisgarh shares a deep bond with Lord Ram, Mata Kaushalya and Ramayan.
