The Centre on Monday extended the Central deputation of Amit Agrawal, a 1993 batch IAS officer from Chhattisgarh cadre, as the CEO of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) for one year. The extension will continue till November 2, 2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
