Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tribute to the pioneer of integral humanism and Antyodaya, revered Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, on his birth anniversary.
CM Chouhan garlanded his portrait and paid floral tributes in the auditorium located at his residence office. Pandit Upadhyay was born on 25 September 1916 in Nagla Chandrabhan village of Mathura.
He was a thinker and organiser of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Pt. Upadhyay was also the co-founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh. He presented the eternal ideology of India in a form appropriate to the times and gave the country the vision of integral humanism.
He wanted a strong and powerful India. Along with politics, he also had a keen interest in literature. He passed away on February 11, 1968.
