Bhopal Crime Branch arrested an accused who deals in illegal firearms and threatened by brandhishing a pistol, he was arrested near Roshanpura intersection and recovered a pistol from his possession.

The accused was carrying a pistol and was on his way to execute a crime was arrested by the police.

After the information was received by the team it reached the spot and caught the miscreant and when he was frisked a pistol was found.  waist. The police arrested the miscreant and produced him in the court.

According to the information, on December 13, 2022, during a wedding ceremony, Furkan alias Sheru was dancing and waving a pistol and was arrested.

During that time, Kapil Yadav, a resident of Roshanpura, who provided the pistol went still absconding. Considering the seriousness of the matter, a team was formed against illegal arms smugglers. The team was continuously searching for arms smugglers.

On February 2, the team received information from the informer that the absconding accused in the Crime Branch crime was standing at Roshanpura intersection with a pistol. 

As soon as the information was received, the crime branch team reached the spot and caught the accused. The accused was identified as Kapil Yadav, a resident of Gwal Mohalla Roshanpura police station, Arera Hills when the accused was searched, a pistol was found. On checking the pistol, a live cartridge was found inside the magazine. The accused was arrested and presented in the court.

Accused Kapil studied till class 10, works as a driver and is a listed goon in  TT Nagar police station. More than a dozen cases are registered against the accused in Jehangirabad, TT Nagar and Arera Hills. Accused Kapil bullies and intimidates people using pistols and has been active in these incidents since 2016.
