Before returning to Dehradun from Bharadisain, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted an inspection of the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Gairsain, Chamoli district on Friday. During his visit the CM interacted with the patients and their caretakers. He inquired about the availability of the medicines and other facilities for the patients.
Dhami also inspected the construction of the new building of the 50 bed sub district hospital which is being constructed as per the announcement of the CM. He directed the work execution agency to expedite the work and complete the building on time. The CM said that efforts are being done to make the health services of the State better. He said that work at a fast pace is being done to strengthen the health services in the remote and mountainous areas of the State. The CM said that the State government has increased the budget of the Ayushman scheme this year. He added that it is the government's priority to ensure that the benefit of the scheme is received by all the card holders.
The Karnprayag MLA Anil Nautiyal, Tharali MLA Bhupal Ram Tamta, Vikasnagar MLA Munna Singh Chauhan, Health secretary R Rajesh Kumar, Chamoli district magistrate Himanshu Khurana, superintendent of police Parmendra Dobhal, chief medical officer Dr Rajeev Kumar and others were present on the occasion.
