IIT (ISM) inks MoU with HCLTech in petroleum engineering and earth sciences

The IIT (ISM) has joined hands with HCLTech, a leading global technology company to collaborate in the field of petroleum engineering and earth sciences and to develop a mutually beneficial knowledge management system using cutting-edge IT technologies.

As per the provisions of MoU, IIT (ISM) students and research scholars will get opportunities to undertake project works and internships in HCL Tech to develop digital solutions in areas of  exploration, drilling and production of hydrocarbons to reduce carbon footprint using state-of-the art technologies.
IIT(ISM) and HCL Tech, under the project will also undertake sustainability initiatives and programs, including discussions, podcasts and joint presentations at international forums on transformative initiatives in the oil and gas sector. The strategic collaboration intends to offer significant value to both the organizations in the field,said Rajni Singh dean Media  and branding.

Dr. Sagar Pal, Dean (R&D) of IIT (ISM), Dhanbad supervised MoU signing which was carried out by Somnath Das and Deepak Bhardwaj-Directors - Oil and Gas, HCL Tech.
