Grandparents' Day celebrated at SCS
Children of class Nursery of Surendranath Centenary School (SCS) celebrated Grandparents' Day by expressing their affection towards grandparents. Around 100 grandparents attended the occasion. Children performed a song 'Tumhi ho mata' followed by dance on 'Dada dadi welcome to my school' and 'Chak dhum dhum'. The ramp walk with twinning colours, the grandparents with their grandchildren was the highlight of the programme. Grandparents became a part of the SCS family as they came up on the stage to express their feelings apt for the celebration. Principal Samita Sinha, thanked the grandparents for joining the celebrations.
Free medical camp organized in Sithio
Mojibur Rehman Multispeciality Hospital organized a free medical camp here on Monday. The health of a large number of patients was examined in the medical camp organized in Sithio, Ranchi. This camp was organized under the supervision of Dr. Rumana Rehman and Dr MK Anwar. Women specialist Dr Rumana Rehman examined the health of women, children, elderly and other people. Dr Rumana said that the women who came to the camp for checkup were suffering from anaemia. Menstrual irregularities, weakness and joint pain were more common problems among women. The hospital management also distributed free medicines among the patients.
