The body of a 58-year-old man was found on Thursday morning near the Christian cemetery located in Ratibad area; death remains suspicious, said police.
He had left two days ago saying he was going to Obedullaganj. After this he did not even reach his relative's house and was missing. The police have established a case in this case. The family members fear death due to alcohol intoxication.
Mojilal Prasad of Suraj Nagar, used to do painting contracting. His younger son Kamlesh told that his father had left the house two days ago saying that he was going to Obedullaganj and didn't reach there till late night. No information about him was found till Wednesday. On Thursday morning, the father's body was found near the wall of the Christian cemetery on the road leading from Suraj Nagar to Ratibad. A friend called in the morning to inform about the dead body. After which they reached the spot and informed the police about the matter.
There are injury marks on the father's body. Kamlesh estimates that his father died due to falling under the influence of alcohol.
