Chhattisgarh Police on Tuesday arrested a 26-year-old man here for accepting bets on the final match of IPL.
Raipur Additional Superintendent of Police (Urban) Abhishek Maheshwari said Vinay Jain of Chudi Line area has been taken into custody.
Police seized a mobile phone and Rs 50,280 in cash from him.
He had accepted bets on the IPL match played between Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans on Monday night.
