As part of the second leg of Sankalp yatra, BJP state president Babulal Marandi addressed public meetings at Jarmundi and termed the JMM/ Congress government as the mother of corruption. He said that the government of Congress, JMM and RJD is busy in earning money and looting Jharkhand. Murder, theft, and kidnapping have become common. Police are more busy in recovery than catching criminals. Without money, work is not done in government offices.
He said that there is loot of mineral wealth in the state. The ruling government is busy looting the land of the tribals. They have looted the land by changing the name. The state government has cheated Oraon, Munda, Santhal tribals.
He said that if crime and corruption have to be ended, the JMM/Congress government will have to be removed. Congress, JMM and RJD do politics only for family and money. There was neither employment nor unemployment allowance in this government.
Marandi said that Jharkhand became a separate state in Atal ji's government, a separate ministry for tribals and Santhali language was included in the 8th schedule.
He said that during the BJP's regime, roads, electricity, bridges and culverts were built on river drains from village to village. He said that there is talk of development in the BJP government while there is talk of loot in Congress JMM governments. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is bringing the scheme keeping in mind the poor of the country. Housing scheme, Rs.6000 Kisan Samman Nidhi for farmers and treatment facilities through Ayushman Yojana, arranged food grains for eighty crore poor people during the Covid period. Dozens of schemes are being worked on in Santhal. A bridge is being built over the river Ganges. He said that the demand for making sand free for private house builders was made in the House, but the local people are being held on to the sand and sand is being sent to other states through brokers. The people of Delhi and Mumbai have been given the responsibility of sand ghats.
He called upon the people to resolve to overthrow the Hemant government as well as make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third time in 2024 and form the BJP government in Jharkhand.
