Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati on Sunday congratulated the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 73rd birthday and wished him a long life. The former UP chief minister also wished people on the occasion of Vishwakarma jayanti .
She also congratulated all members of parliament on the occasion of the flag hoisting at the new parliament building. The special session of parliament will commence in the new building on September 19, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. She expressed the hope that the new parliament building will greatly contribute to the pursuit of the humanist ideals and objectives outlined in the Constitution drafted by Dr Ambedkar.
She further said that holding the session in the new parliament building would ignite a new ray of hope among the people, especially if it effectively addresses issues such as inflation, unemployment, internal security, and the threat of terrorism in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav also congratulated the prime minister on his birthday.
