In connection with Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2023 a Millet Recipe Contest will be organized tomorrow by the Department of Dietetics at AIIMS Bhopal. Apart from this Continuing Nutrition Education (CNE) is also planned for Tuesday.
Theme for this year is "Suposhit Bharat, Sakshar Bharat, Sashakt Bharat".
Under the esteemed guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh Executive Director AIIMS Bhopal various programmes are organized during the month to raise awareness about appropriate diets, nutrition and over all good health in communities. To mark the celebration of "Rashtriya Poshan Maah 2023", a millet cafe has been inaugurated in RDA canteen. AIIMS Bhopal has become the first hospital of Central Asia to initiate the distribution of Millet recipe to the IPD patients in their daily diet.
As the year 2023 is being declared "International Year of Millet", Dept of dietetics is looking forward to educate community on importance and health benefits of millets to promote good health and sustainable development.
