Chunabhatti police arrested murder accused from Dewas who killed a 32-year-old man over a Rs 1500 dispute on Tuesday at Chhatrapati Shivaji Colony.
Ghanshyam Rajak reported that his son-in-law Mukesh Malviya came to house on Tuesday who had a dispute over a transaction of Rs 1500 with Rinku alias Pramod Rathore who had beaten Mukesh brutually, when he was taken to hospital he was declared dead.
Based on the information, the accused was tracked and arrested from Dewas. Police sent the body for post mortem and a case under section 302 of the IPC was registered against the accused.
Meanwhile Ashoka Garden police arrested a 21-year-old youth who was carrying a country made pistol illegally near Narmada Parikrama Park on Tuesday.
