Tearing into the AAP over allegations linked with the construction of a new residence for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the BJP on Thursday said it hoped that the CBI probe would bring forth the truth behind his “rajmahal”.

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said Kejriwal is playing victim card by making absurd statements to mislead the public and media. “Evidence has been found in every investigation of corruption on Kejriwal government and this is the reason why two Ministers of Kejriwal are in jail,” Sachdeva said.

Earlier, addressing a press conference, former Delhi BJP President and MP Manoj Tiwari on Thursday charged that the Arvind Kejriwal government is a government with a criminal mentality which is being run by criminals and corruption has become its identity.

Leveling these allegations in a news conference, Tiwari also said if there is any party in the history of Indian politics which has achieved record in loot and corruption in the shortest time since its formation it is ‘Aam Aadmi Party’ whose kingpin is Arvind Kejriwal.

The BJP leader claimed Kejriwal’s entire system is involved in forming a party in the name of the common man and looting the treasury of the same common man. The former Delhi BJP president said we have been saying that all the scams and loot happening in Delhi government are happening as per Kejriwal’s orders.

Taking a dig at the revamped Chief Minister’s bungalow, Tiwari charged leave aside its other things, the toilet seats and curtains installed in it are worth crores. He also said those who had pledged for simplicity in 2013 are today in 2022 living in the rajmahal.

The former President of Delhi BJP said that BJP has been continuously demanding a CBI investigation in this matter and yesterday CBI has decided to start the investigation and we hope that this investigation will bring the truth of the rajmahal in front of the public.
