The Vigilance police on Thursday conduced raids on the properties of Sangram Keshari Jena, an official of the Revenue Disaster Management Department, Bhubaneswar (former Tehsildar of Buguda in Ganjam district), on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets to his known sources of income.
House searches were carried out at one triple-storied building of Jena at Jena Colony in Balugaon in Khordha district; one building located at Haripur under the Tangi police station in Khordha district; house of his relative at Balugaon. Three plots with boundary wall at Chhotaraypursasan in Banpur in Khordha district have also been detected in the name of Jena, so far. Further search was in progress.
