The Commissionerate police on Tuesday busted a sex racket that was being operated from a house in the Badambadi area of Cuttack city.
The cops also rescued four women and arrested two customers in this connection.
Acting on a tipoff that a flesh trade racket was operating from the house, a team of the Badambadi police raided the house and rescued the women, including the wife of a Constable of the 6th Battalion, and arrested the two accused
“A case has been registered under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act in this regard. Four women have been rescued and two men, who have been detained, are being interrogated,” said a police officer.
Sources said the sex racket was running under the cover of a web channel.
