Two Naxalites who planted an improvised explosive device (IED) to target security forces were arrested on Friday in Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh.
Korsa Manglu (20) and Deva Muchaki (21) were nabbed by the Chhattisgarh Armed Force, District Reserve Guard and district force in Tekri near Hurrepal village, Bijapur Additional Superintendent of Police Chandrakant Governa told The Pioneer.
After arrest, they told the police that they were members of an outlawed Maoist IED team.
They said they planted an IED near Etapal camp to target security forces on March 27, leading to the death of CAF Assistant Platoon Commander Vijay Yadav.
They also named two other Naxalites involved in that incident. Efforts are on to nab the two.
