The brief winter session of Uttar Pradesh assembly is commencing here from Tuesday.
The session will have four sittings and conclude on December 1. The proceedings of the session will be conducted under the revised Rules of Business for the Conduct of the Proceedings of the Vidhan Sabha, 2023, adopted by the state assembly during the monsoon session in August that prohibits members from carrying mobile phones, posters and banners in the House.
There will be a special feature for women MLAs this time as they will be given priority in speaking during the assembly session.
On the first day of the session on Tuesday, the House will adjourn for the day after obituary references on the death of present and former members of the House.
Ordinances and notifications will be tabled in the UP assembly during the first half of November 29, the second day. Supplementary budget for the financial year 2023-24 will be presented after 12:30 pm. On the third day, a discussion will be held on the supplementary grants for the financial year 2023-24, and the supplementary budget will be passed. The session will conclude on December 1.
