Two persons were injured when at least two cars in the convoy of an MLA belonging to an Eknath Shinde- Shiv Sena MLA Ashish Jaiwal were involved in a road mishap in Bhandara district of eastern Maharashtra on Wednesday.
Jaiswal was travelling in a car for a poll campaign when the mishap occurred near Kanhan village in Bhandara district Of the two vehicles, one white car was thrown off the road into a ditch beside it and it was badly damaged, while the second black car also suffered considerable damage.
Jaiswal, who was travelling by another was unhurt, while two of his aides suffered serious injuries in the accident. The cause of mishap is not yet clear.
