Makoons Play School has seen significant growth year after year, reaching its peak in the fiscal year 2023-24 with a 105% increase in revenue, projected to be Rs 10 crore for the same period, according to a press release from the school.

The school plans to expand nationwide and aims to set up over 500 centers by 2026. The first phase of this expansion involves opening 300 centers by the start of the fiscal year 2025, along with regional offices in Lucknow and Pune. Additional offices in Bhopal and Hyderabad are scheduled for 2025.

Currently, Makoons has 200 centers across India and in two other countries, Nepal and Bangladesh. Recently, they expanded their World Schools in Visakhapatnam and Gwalior to include the K-8 segment, providing a comprehensive education approach with modern educational methods and technology.

In December 2023, Governor Ramesh Bais suggested revising school timings during the inauguration of various schemes by the school education department. The Maharashtra government has implemented school start times of 9 am or later to prioritize students' health.

The institute also claims to have a Career Service Committee to help students find internship and placement opportunities.

"Makoons Play School envisions a future where quality early childhood education is accessible nationwide. The strategic expansion plan and projected financial growth are not just numbers on a balance sheet but a reflection of Makoons' commitment to shaping the educational landscape of the nation," said Vijay Kumar Agarwal, founder and CEO of Makoons Group of Schools.
