If there would have been an alliance between the ruling BJD and the opposition BJP in Odisha, it would have been an amazing development. But due to dispute over seat-sharing, an alliance didn’t materialise, said the Navaniram Krushak Sangathan here on Sunday.
However, an alliance between the BJD and the BJP is still there. Both are fighting the polls separately only to fool the people. The situation of the Congress is precarious. From the way the big and popular leaders are leaving the party, it is doubtful whether the Congress would exist or not. By the time of nomination, there would be no winnable candidate in the Congress. The Navnirman Krushak Sangathan is carrying out a ‘Sinhasan Khalikar’ campaing in the State to form a farmers’ government in the State. For this, the organisation’s national convenor Akshay Kumar would contest against Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Hinjili, said the Sngathan.
