Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan has said that as per the election schedule of Lok Sabha Elections-2024, the process of filing nomination papers for the second phase has started from March 28. On the third day of the second phase of nomination, 13 candidates submitted 19 nomination papers. From March 28 till now, 27 nomination papers have been filed by 21 candidates.
CEORajan has informed that on April 2, one nomination paper was filed by one candidate in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 6 Tikamgarh (SC), 2 nomination papers were filed by 2 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 7 Damoh, 2 nomination papers by 2 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency Khajuraho No. 8, 6 nomination papers by 4 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 9 Satna, 5 nomination papers by 3 candidates in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 10 Rewa and 3 nomination papers have been filed by 1 candidate in Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituency No. 29 In Betul (ST). No nomination papers were filed by any candidate in Lok Sabha parliamentary constituency no. 17 Narmadapuram.
