A total of 20 candidates have submitted 31 nomination papers for the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Chhattisgarh, an official communiqué said on Tuesday.
Five candidates have filed eight nominations for the Rajnandgaon constituency, eight have filed 14 nominations for the Mahasamund constituency and seven have filed nine nominations for the Kanker constituency.
Nominations for the second phase began on March 28 and will end on April 4.
They will be scrutinized on April 5 and withdrawals will be accepted until April 8.
The three constituencies will see polling on April 26. The results will be announced nationally on June 4.
