Five miscreants created huge ruckus and broke the glass of more than 12 vehicles in Barah Daftar area late in the night on Monday; CCTV footage revealed that the miscreants escaped from Regional Science Centre towards Banganga area.
A video of vandalism has also surfaced, in which miscreants are seen vandalizing two-wheelers and four-wheelers while moving from Ganganagar to Barah Daftar area .
SI of TT Nagar police station Dinesh Khajuria said that at around 1.30 in the night, information was received about vandalism of vehicles in Barah Daftar area . CCTV camera footage has been found and on checking, it was revealed that 5 youths had descended from behind the Regional Science Center and had gone to the slums of Barah Daftar area via Ganga Nagar. They had sticks in their hands. They passed through the streets, and vandalized vehicles parked outside houses. Hearing the sound of vandalism at night, people came out of their houses but by then the miscreants had fled from the spot.
In the act of vandalism the maximum number of vehicles targeted were in the slums near Barah Daftar area.
