Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) organized its annual sports competition for approximately 450 trainees, facilitated by the Human Resource Development Department, on February 10th at the Trainees Hostel Ground. The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of several BSL dignitaries, including newly elected DIC Bokaro B.K. Tiwari, Executive Director (Personnel & Administration), Rajan Prasad, Chief General Manager (HRD), Manish Jalota, Chief General Manager (Personnel), Hari Mohan Jha, and Chief General Manager (Town Administration), Kundan Kumar, along with other senior officials.
The event commenced with the inauguration by B.K. Tiwari, Rajan Prasad, and other officials, who released balloons to mark the occasion. Mr. Tiwari encouraged the trainees to participate in the competition with enthusiasm and vigor, emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship and camaraderie.
The competition witnessed participation from BSL's management trainees as well as senior officers from various departments. Events such as the 100m race, 200m race, shot put, discus throw, and tug-of-war were organized for male trainees, while female trainees participated in events like the 50m race, tug-of-war, musical chair, and others.
The program was efficiently managed by Deputy General Manager (HRD), Rajesh Kumar, who also concluded the event by motivating the participants, thereby spreading the message of unity and healthy competition through sports.
