Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar reviewed the preparations for voting by discussing with the central observers appointed in all the Lok Sabha constituencies conducting polls in the fourth phase through video conferencing on Wednesday. Rajiv Kumar congratulated Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan on the peaceful completion of the third phase of voting in Madhya Pradesh. In VC, Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and Dr. S.S. Sandhu was also present.
Chief Election Commissioner Kumar said that observers should make frequent visits. Ensure arrangements for tents, drinking water and ORS etc. for the voters in the polling station. Collective efforts by the returning officers, observers, SVEEP nodal officers and the entire election team should be ensured to increase voting turnout.
The Chief Election Commissioner said that the Commission is ready to help you round the clock. If there is any problem, please inform immediately. Your problem will be resolved immediately.
It may be noted that voting will be held on May 13 in the fourth phase in Madhya Pradesh in the Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies number-21 Dewas (SC), number-22 Ujjain (SC), number-23 Mandsaur, number-24 Ratlam (ST), number-25 Dhar (ST), number- 26 Indore, number 27 Khargone (ST) and number 28 Khandwa.
Additional Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Kumar Kaul, Joint Chief Electoral Officer Basant Kurre and Tarun Rathi and Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Pramod Kumar Shukla and other officers were present in the video conferencing.
